Establishing the Identity of Uganda’s Fashion
Our foundation is built on the belief that fashion is the ultimate expression of identity. SEED searches and discovers young budding fashion designers from across Uganda—from the most underserved areas to the most affluent suburbs—providing them with mentorship, extensive trainings, and exposure to established industry professionals. By using educational tools to foster an entrepreneurial mindset, we transform lives and impact communities, establishing the true identity of Uganda’s fashion on an internationally acclaimed stage.

SEED is an educational non-profit organization built on a radical belief: that the next internationally acclaimed fashion designer might be cutting cloth in Katwe, sketching in Kireka, or dreaming in the affluent suburbs of Kampala — and they deserve the same shot at greatness.
We search and discover young, budding fashion designers from the dingiest parts of Uganda and its thriving suburbs alike. We give them more than tools — we give them an identity. The knowledge. The network. The entrepreneurial mindset to build a business, secure their financial future, and establish the identity of Uganda's fashion on the global stage.
